I’ve spent a lot of time lately thinking about tired people.
Not just physically tired — though that too. But soul tired. The kind of weariness that doesn’t shift with a nap or a holiday. The kind that builds in quiet corners of grief, anxiety, disappointment, or just long, faithful slog.
And not just thinking about them. I’ve been one of them. Maybe you have too.
So here’s something small I’ve put together — born from that space.
📖 Biblical Inspiration for the Weary is a new 30-day devotional I’ve written for people who find themselves running on fumes but still wanting to meet with God.
Each entry is short, honest, and rooted in Scripture. It’s not written from a mountain-top. More like a bench on the way up the hill. A place to rest. Regroup. Reset.
Every day offers:
- A focused Scripture (with two more to explore)
- A short life reflection — real, not religious
- A simple action or journaling step
- A prayer prompt to carry you forward
You don’t need to be in a good place to start it.
You just need to take a seat. God’s already there.
💬 Why I Wrote It
I’ve worked with people in recovery, discipleship, and community ministry for over two decades now. And if there’s one thing I’ve seen over and over, it’s this: the exhausted are still trying.
Still praying. Still showing up. Still seeking.
But the resources for them — for us — are often loud, long, or loaded with pressure. This isn’t that. Biblical Inspiration for the Weary is deliberately quiet. Gentle. Grace-paced.
If you’re dry, uncertain, heart-sore, or just trying to stay awake at the wheel of your faith — this is for you.
🛠️ How to Use It
- One page a day. Don’t rush.
- Keep a pen handy — even one word can shift something.
- Miss a day? No guilt. Pick up where you left off.
- Read it solo, in a group, or use it in your mentoring or church context.
