PEOPLE.
POLICY.
PRACTICE.
Joining the Dots
Helping people and organisations make sense of complexity, understand one another and turn insight into meaningful action.
PEOPLE
Listening, communication, lived reality, community engagement and the relationships that make change possible.
POLICY
Making research, systems and public policy understandable and connecting them with the people they affect.
PRACTICE
Turning insight and intention into approaches that work in real organisations and communities.
What I bring
Research. Practice. Communication.
My work has developed across communities, churches, recovery services, universities and public systems. I am interested in the places where those worlds fail to understand one another — and in joining the dots between them.
That means bringing together social policy, journalism, creative writing, digital journalism, doctoral research, community practice, recovery, faith and third-sector experience — not as separate badges, but as different ways of seeing the same problem.
I can speak fluently with churches, recovery communities, frontline workers and policymakers — because I’ve lived in more than one of those worlds.
Let’s talk
If you are trying to make sense of a complex issue, connect people who are not hearing one another, or turn good intentions into workable practice, get in touch.
Understanding complexity. Connecting people. Making ideas useful.
